Poipoia provides basic communications support for Māori organisations that need regular, simple and clear updates for their people.
This service is designed for iwi, hapū, marae, Māori trusts, incorporations, small PSGEs and Māori community organisations that want help preparing social media posts, pānui, AGM updates and website content.
Social media is the main focus. Pānui, website updates and AGM content are used to support the posts and help direct whānau, owners, members and beneficiaries to key information.
Our experience
Poipoia brings practical communications experience and a strong understanding of Māori governance, iwi relationships, whenua-based entities and kaupapa Māori engagement.
The service is led by Tina Porou, former Head of Communications at Contact Energy, who has extensive experience working with Māori entities, iwi, hapū, trusts and incorporations. Poipoia is also supported by Te Rina Porou, a kaupapa Māori communications advisor and content producer with experience across iwi, public sector, education, climate and te reo Māori spaces.
