Resource Management Reform Training
From December 2026, Poipoia will offer online and in-person training on Aotearoa’s new resource management reforms from a Te Ao Māori perspective.
This training is designed for local government, councils, consultants, developers, conservation organisations, iwi, hapū and Māori land trusts working across planning, consenting, infrastructure, whenua, freshwater, biodiversity, climate and environmental decision-making.
The programme will help participants understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to respond in ways that uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi, kaitiakitanga, Māori rights and interests, conservation outcomes, and the wellbeing of whānau, whenua, wai and te taiao.
